Compared to its small leaf counterpart, large leaf Ceylon tea delivers a lighter amber liquor and a more delicate taste. While small leaf Ceylon tea brews quickly into a full-bodied tea, the large leaf variety needs more time to steep for a fuller flavour.
To make a cup of large leaf Ceylon tea, use water that’s at 90-95 degrees and steep the tea leaves for three minutes or more, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
